Requirements
Your phone needs to be an unlocked dual-band, tri-band or quad-band GSM phone capable of functioning on the 1800 MHz GSM band in order to accept the SIM card.

Phone Setup

• Charge your phone before you leave for the UK.
• For SIM card purchases: snap the SIM chip out of the SIM card (be sure to keep the SIM card).  Take the battery out of your phone.  Insert your SIM chip with the metal plate facing down so it makes contact with the metal prongs (if renting, SIM is already installed).

Checking Your Credit

Adding More Talk Time

Service Life
Lebara automatically deactivates SIM cards if you do not use them to make a call or send a text for more than 80 days. Unfortunately these SIM cards cannot be reconnected and the mobile number also stops being available for you to use after this time.

To inquire about the possibility of extending your SIM card’s service life while outside the SIM card’s country of origin, contact the telecom provider's customer service, Cellular Abroad does not provide support for this feature.
