Activating your service:

• Your first call in South Africa activates your service.
• You must add the initial recharge voucher code that was included with your package in order to make and receive calls. This is done by dialing 555 from your mobile phone in South Africa and following the voice instructions to enter the PIN.

Your cellular phone number for South Africa is easily found in your Prepaid SIM Card package. It is on the back of the package under a bard code labeled MSISDN and starts with, "083".

Checking Your Credit:
You can check your account balance anytime, all you have to do is:

Recharging Your SIM Card:
Recharge cards, called the "MTN top up voucher" may be purchased in denominations of 30, 60 and 180 Rand at many outlets including convenience stores and gas stations. Even if you have zero credit, since incoming calls are always free, you will still be able to receive calls. You can also purchase additional time from us below:

South Africa Prepaid Recharge Card only $19.00 for 60 ZAR of talk time credit (app. 10 mins to US, 20 local) Have extra talk time credit to add to your prepaid account as soon as you arrive. Each of these recharges gives about 10 minutes of calls to the US or Canada or about 17 minutes in South Africa. Incoming calls are free while at your destination.

To add talk time, simply follow these easy instructions:

1. If you are using a recharge card, scratch off the protective coating on the back of the card to expose the 10 digit PIN/recharge code

3. Follow the voice instructions to enter your PIN number

Service Life:
If you don't make an outgoing call within 90 days, your cell phone number will no longer function nor can it be reinstated.
