Activating your service:
- Your first call in South Africa activates your service.
- You must add the initial recharge voucher code that was included with your package in order to make and receive calls. This is done by dialing 555 from your mobile phone in South Africa and following the voice instructions to enter the PIN.

Your cellular phone number for South Africa is easily found in your Prepaid SIM Card package. It is on the back of the package under a bard code labeled MSISDN and starts with, "083".
Checking Your Credit:
You can check your account balance anytime, all you have to do is:

Recharging Your SIM Card:
Recharge cards, called the "MTN top up voucher" may be purchased in denominations of 30, 60 and 180 Rand at many outlets including convenience stores and gas stations. Service Life:
