Your Morocco SIM Card Cell Phone Number
Your cellular phone number for Morocco is easily found on the back of your SIM card.
Activating your service:
- Go to Morocco
- Make sure your SIM is properly inserted into your mobile phone*
- Be sure that battery is charged
- dial 555 <send> to receive your phone number.
- You can now begin calling.
To access voicemail, enter "123".
To access charge & credits, enter "5554".
To access the Meditel menu, enter "121". You can access voicemail, charge/credits and more in the menu.
Voice prompts are in French and Arabic.
Recharging Your SIM Card:
Recharge cards must be purchased from a MediJahiz vendor found throughout Morocco. You must have your cellphone and SIM card with you to purchase.
Detailed Rates:
Rates are expressed in Moroccan Dirham and are based on per minute outgoing charges. For up-to-date currency exchange rates, use the Currency Converter. One US Dollar is worth about 8.5 Dirham.

Service Life
Your Morocco SIM card is valid for 6 months after activation. Each recharge will extend the validity period for 6 months. If you do not load your card within a 6 month period, the SIM card and accompanying phone number will expire. You may reload as often and as many times as you like.
Multi-Country Travel
You can also purchase other SIM cards as well for other countries to where you may be traveling. (This option is good for those planning on doing a lot of local calling.)
